Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft

KANSAS CITY, Mo., May 24 (UPI) -- A three-run homer by Jason Michaels and a three-run triple by Casey Blake sent the Cleveland Indians cruising past Kansas City Thursday night, 10-3.
Jeremy Sowers picked up his first win of the season after losing his first four decisions. He allowed six hits in seven innings in helping the Indians win for the seventh time in their last 10 games and avoid a three-game sweep.
Michaels' homer highlighted a five-run first inning, and Blake delivered his triple in the fifth. Ryan Garko contributed three hits and two RBI.
The loss went to Jorge De La Rosa (4-4), who gave up nine runs on six hits with seven walks in 4 1/3.
Kansas City lost for only the second time in 10 outings.
