Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft

TORONTO, May 22 (UPI) -- Toronto Raptors Coach Sam Mitchell, who was voted the NBA coach of the year for 2006-07, has been given a new contract.
Details of the agreement were not released Tuesday.
Mitchell just completed his third season with Toronto, leading the Raptors to a franchised-record tying 47 wins and the No. 3 seed in the NBA Eastern Conference. Toronto was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs.
The 47 wins was 20 more than during the previous season for Toronto.
Mitchell played 13 seasons in the NBA and was an assistant coach for two years before the Raptors made him their head coach. In three seasons as head coach, Mitchell has a 107-139 record.
