Arbitrators rule against Orioles pitcher Bergesen

TORONTO, May 16 (UPI) -- Greg Sutton recorded the first shutout in franchise history Wednesday night as Toronto FC defeated defending MLS champion Houston, 1-0.
It was the second straight win for Toronto after having lost the first four games in its inaugural season.
The game's only goal came from Andy Welsh in the 25th minute off a free kick. Houston has been blanked in four of its six outings this year.
Ronnie O'Brien sent a cross into the box to an unmarked Walsh, who headed the ball past goalkeeper Pat Onstad.
Sutton made four saves, allowing Toronto (2-4-0) to move out of last place in the Eastern Conference. Houston fell to 2-3-1.
