MLB: Florida 9, Pittsburgh 3

PITTSBURGH, May 15 (UPI) -- Dan Uggla hit two home runs Tuesday as the Florida Marlins posted a 9-3 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Hanley Ramirez and Jeremy Hermida also homered for Florida, which ended a four-game losing streak. Sergio Mitre (1-2) allowed three runs and eight hits over 7 2/3 innings. Aaron Boone had three RBI for the Marlins.

Paul Maholm (2-5) was the loser allowing five runs on seven hits through six innings.
