LOS ANGELES, May 13 (UPI) -- Juan Pierre drove in the winning run in the bottom of the eighth Sunday as the Los Angeles Dodgers beat Cincinnati 10-5, completing a three-game sweep.
The single broke a 5-5 tie and started a five-run outburst.
Nomar Garciaparra drove in three runs, Andre Ethier drove in two, and Rafael Furcal and Jeff Kent had one RBI each for the Dodgers, who have won four of their last five games.
The winner was Jonathan Broxton (2-1).
Ken Griffey, Jr. hit his 570th career home run for Cincinnati. It was a three-run blast in the fourth.
Juan Castro and Ryan Freel both had one RBI for the Reds, who have lost six of seven.
The loser was Kirk Saarloos (0-3).
