KANSAS CITY, Mo., May 12 (UPI) -- Kenny Cooper and Juan Toja scored first half goals Saturday to help FC Dallas beat Kansas City 2-1.

Goalkeeper Dario Sala made nine saves for the Hoops, who suffered two straight shutout losses before their victory. Despite their recent struggles, the Hoops are fourth in the Western Conference, and maintain playoff aspirations at season's end.

Michael Harrington scored in the 91st minute for the Wizard, who suffered their first home loss of the season, but maintained first place in the East.

FC Dallas plays its next game at Chicago on Thursday.

Kansas City plays at Colorado next Saturday night.
