MLB: Boston 13, Baltimore 4

BOSTON, May 12 (UPI) -- Manny Ramirez, Alex Cora, Mike Lowell and Kevin Youkilis knocked in two runs each Saturday afternoon, as the Boston Red Sox clobbered Baltimore, 13-4.

Julio Lugo had four hits and one RBI; Alex Cora had two runs and two hits; Jason Varitek drove in a run; Lowell added two runs and two hits; while David Ortiz had three runs, two hits and one RBI for the Red Sox -- who have won four of their last five games.

The winner was reliever Javier Lopez (1-0). Starter Curt Schilling allowed four earned runs and nine hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Jay Gibbons had three hits and two RBI; Brian Roberts had two hits and one RBI; a run scored on a groundout by Corey Patterson; and Miguel Tejada had a run and two hits for the Orioles -- whose four-game winning streak was broken.

The losing pitcher was reliever Jon Leicester (0-1).
