MLB: LA Dodgers 5, Florida 3

MIAMI, May 9 (UPI) -- Brett Tomko allowed three earned runs on five hits in 6 2/3 innings Wednesday night as the Los Angeles Dodgers beat Florida, 5-3.

Five different Dodgers had RBIs. Olmedo Saenz hit a solo homer in the fifth inning, Brady Clark and Wilson Valdez had two hits each, and Russell Martin had two runs and two hits for the Dodgers, who have split their last four games.

Tomko walked two batters and struck out six.

Takashi Saito earned his 10th save of the season.

Mike Jacobs had a pinch-hit two-run homer, Dan Uggla hit an RBI single, and Hanley Ramirez had a run and two hits for the Marlins, who have lost four of five.

Losing pitcher Dontrelle Willis (5-2) yielded four earned runs and six hits in seven innings, with five walks and one strikeout.
