CINCINNATI, May 7 (UPI) -- Josh Hamilton hit two homers and drove in three runs Sunday afternoon as the Cincinnati Reds trounced Colorado, 9-3.
Alex Gonzalez and Ryan Freel hit solo homers; Scott Hatteberg had two hits and one RBI; Freel scored three times, while he, Hatteberg, Ken Griffey Jr. and David Ross all had two hits for the Reds -- who snapped a season-high four-game losing streak.
Winner Bronson Arroyo (2-2) gave up three earned runs and five hits in 5 2/3 innings, with three walks and seven strikeouts.
David Weathers recorded his sixth save of the season.
Todd Helton had two hits and two RBI, and John Mabry drove in a run for the Rockies, who had seven hits and have split their last four games.
Losing pitcher Josh Fogg (1-3) gave up five earned runs and seven hits in five innings, with five walks and four strikeouts.
