
ATLANTA, May 6 (UPI) -- Edgar Renteria had two hits and two RBI Sunday afternoon to help the Atlanta Braves beat the Los Angeles Dodgers, 6-4.
Renteria hit a two-run double as part of a five-run seventh inning, as Atlanta rallied from a 4-1 deficit.
Matt Diaz, Jarrod Saltalamacchia, Scott Thorman and Chris Woodward all had one RBI. Renteria, Diaz and Saltalamacchia had two hits each for the Braves, who have won three of four.
The winner was Chad Paronto (2-0).
Mike Gonzalez recorded his first save of the season.
Renteria extended his hitting streak to 15 games, and Kelly Johnson has an 11-game hitting streak.
Former Brave Wilson Betemit hit a two-run homer; Mike Lieberthal and Andre Ethier added RBI singles; while Lieberthal and Luis Gonzalez had two hits apiece for the NL West-leading Dodgers -- who have split their last four games.
The loser was Chin-hui Tsao (0-1) after his first blown save of the season.
