ESTORIL, Portugal, May 6 (UPI) -- Germany's Greta Arn rallied from a set down Sunday to beat Victoria Azarenka of Belarus and win the women's Estoril Open in Estoril, Portugal.

The scores were 2-6, 6-1, 7-6 (7-3).

The 28-year-old Arn saved two match points to win for the first time in her career.

"I won today with my experience," said Arn, who is No. 176 in the latest world rankings. "I tried to give her the balls she wouldn't like -- the high balls to keep her out of her rhythm. She is young and she made some mistakes that an older, more experienced player probably wouldn't make."

Azarenka, who was also trying for her first WTA singles title, held a 5-4 lead in the third set with Arn serving to stay in the match.

She had two match points during the game, but Arn saved both and the set went to a tie-breaker, which Arn dominated.
