
CLEVELAND, May 3 (UPI) -- Grady Sizemore hit an RBI double in the bottom of the eighth inning Thursday as Cleveland got by Toronto 6-5 for its third win in a row.
Catcher Victor Martinez had one run, four hits and two RBI, while Josh Barfield had one run, two hits and one RBI for Cleveland. A run scored on a wild pitch by Toronto's Dustin McGowan and Mike Rouse scored twice for the Indians, who have won eight of nine overall.
The winner was reliever Aaron Fultz (3-0) and Joe Borowski recorded his 10th save of the season.
Troy Glaus hit a two-run homer and had two hits, while Jason Phillips had two hits and two RBI. for Toronto. Lyle Overbay contributed two runs and two hits, while Frank Thomas had one run and two hits for the Blue Jays, who blew an early 4-0 lead and suffered their third straight loss.
The losing pitcher was reliever Jason Frasor (1-1).
