MLB: Atlanta 4, Philadelphia 3

ATLANTA, May 2 (UPI) -- Willie Harris knocked in the winning run Wednesday with a sixth-inning single as Atlanta edged Philadelphia 4-3.

The Braves also got a two-run double from Chipper Jones and an RBI hit from Andruw Jones knocked in a run. Edgar Renteria had two runs and two hits for the Braves, who had lost their previous two games.

The winner was reliever Chad Paronto (1-0), and Rafael Soriano recorded his second save of the season.

Ryan Howard blasted a three-run homer and Jimmy Rollins had two hits for the Phillies, who have split their last four games.

Losing pitcher Freddy Garcia (1-2) surrendered four earned runs on five hits and two walks in five innings. He struck out two Atlanta batters.
