OTTAWA, April 30 (UPI) -- Ray Emery made 25 saves for his second career playoff shutout Monday as the Ottawa Senators beat New Jersey 2-0 in Game 3 of their Eastern semifinals.
Tom Preissing scored 4:46 into the third period in an up-until-then scoreless duel. Jason Spezza added an empty-net goal with 55.5 seconds left.
The Senators took a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series with Game 4 slated for Wednesday, also in Ottawa.
Martin Brodeur stopped 32 shots for the Devils, who couldn't convert on any of five power play chances.
