CASABLANCA, Morocco, April 29 (UPI) -- Eighth seed Paul-Henri Mathieu of France beat Spain's Albert Montanes, 6-1, 6-1, Sunday, to win the Grand Prix Hassan II at Casablanca, Morocco.
Mathieu put the unseeded Montanes away in just 62 minutes to earn his third ATP title -- and a first-prize check for $75,000.

It was Mathieu's first tournament tile since 2002, when he won consecutive events at Moscow and Lyon, France.
Montanes has lost four ATP finals, and has yet to win one.
