Gonzalez, Utley share weekly NL honors

NEW YORK, April 30 (UPI) -- Cincinnati shortstop Alex Gonzalez and Philadelphia second baseman Chase Utley were named Monday as the National League Co-Players of the Week.

Gonzalez hit .520 and had an NL-best 1.040 slugging percentage during the week. He had 26 total bases and a league-high 13 hits, including three home runs, nine runs scored and six RBI.

Utley hit .444 (12-for-27) over the seven-game period with an NL-best 10 RBI. He had a .778 slugging percentage, 21 total bases and scored seven runs.
