Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft

ESTORIL, Portugal, April 30 (UPI) -- Third-seeded Novak Djokovic barely hung on Monday for a first-round victory at the $625,000 clay-court Estoril Open tennis tournament in Portugal.
Djokovic played for nearly three hours before closing out Igor Andreev, 6-2, 4-6, 7-6 (7-5).
But eighth-seeded Gael Monfils was not so fortunate, losing 7-5, 1-6, 6-2 to Juan Monaco.
Also Monday, Frederico Gil topped Ruben Ramirez Hidalgo, 6-1, 4-6, 6-3; Santiago Ventura beat Sergio Roitman, 7-5, 6-2; Juan Martin del Potro overcame Alejandro Falla. 1-6, 6-2, 6-4; and Alberto Martin advanced. 6-1, 2-0, when Evgeny Korolev retired early second set.
World No. 4 Nikolay Davydenko and world No. 7 Tommy Robredo are the top two seeds for this year's Estoril Open.
