Report: Jonathan Ogden not retiring

Published: April 27, 2007 at 6:26 PM

BALTIMORE, April 27 (UPI) -- Jonathan Ogden says he will be back for his 12th NFL season with the Baltimore Ravens.

The perennial all-pro left tackle has pondered retirement this off-season.

"I am coming back," the 6-foot-9 inch, 345-pound Ogden told The Baltimore Sun Friday. "I won't say that it's 100 percent because I don't want to close any door. But unless something drastic happens to make me change my mind -- and I don't foresee that happening -- then I'm playing one more year."

The 32-year-old Ogden has been named to the Pro Bowl 10 times. Injuries have slowed him in the past two seasons.

With the losses of right tackle Tony Pashos (Jacksonville) and guard Edwin Mulitalo (released), the Ravens are expected to make the offensive line their chief priority at this weekend's NFL Draft.
