CHICAGO, April 25 (UPI) -- Milwaukee Brewers' Manager Ned Yost Wednesday afternoon spent his second straight day managing the team with a broken right collarbone.
The injury occurred when Yost tripped and fell while jogging before Tuesday's game. He went to a hospital, refused treatment and then returned to the game.
Yost confirmed the injury before Wednesday's game.
"I'm fine," he told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. "I've got a crack in it. It's no big deal."
"I think I'll leave him alone on this one," said reliever Mike Wise on the team's Web site. "He looks like he's in a world of pain."
Yost did admit to not being able to sleep comfortably Tuesday night, but said he was determined to manage Wednesday's contest -- which Brewers' starter Ben Sheets left early with a right groin strain.
