Robredo, Nalbandian advance in Barcelona

BARCELONA, Spain, April 24 (UPI) -- Third-seeded Spaniard Tommy Robredo and fourth-seeded Argentine David Nalbandian were among Tuesday's second-round winners at the $1 million Open Seat 2007.

Robredo, 2006 runner-up and 2004 champion, defeated fellow Spaniard Feliciano Lopez 6-2, 6-2. Nalbandian beat Spaniard Alberto Martin 6-2, 6-0.

Robredo lost to Rafael Nadal in last year's all-Spanish Barcelona finale.

Argentine Agustin Calleri, who will meet Robredo in the round of 16, also reached the third round by defeating Italian qualifier Paolo Lorenzi 6-2, 6-2.
