MLB: Pittsburgh 7, LA Dodgers 5

LOS ANGELES, April 22 (UPI) -- Chris Duffy went 3-for-5 with three runs scored and two stolen bases Sunday as the Pittsburgh Pirates turned back the Los Angeles Dodgers, 7-5.

Jason Bay hit a two-run double, and Adam La Roche hit a solo home run. Freddy Sanchez, Jack Wilson and Nate McLouth all drove in one run; and Jose Bautista had a run and two hits for the Pirates, who broke a four-game losing streak.

Winner Tom Gorzelanny (3-0) gave up three earned runs and five hits in six innings, with two walks and six strikeouts.

Salomon Torres earned his sixth save of the season.

Olmedo Saenz had two hits, one a solo homer, and scored three times. Russell Martin hit a sacrifice fly, and Nomar Garciaparra and Luis Gonzalez both hit RBI singles for the Dodgers, who had a three-game winning streak broken.

Loser Brett Tomko (0-1) yielded five runs -- three earned -- on eight hits in six innings.
