MLS: New England 4, Toronto 0

FOXBORO, Mass., April 14 (UPI) -- Taylor Twellman scored two goals Saturday night as the New England Revolution beat Toronto FC, 4-0.

Twellman has 77 goals in his sixth year in Major League Soccer.

Shalrie Joseph and Andy Dorman scored in the second half in New England's home opener.

Twellman started the scoring in the 12th minute, beating Toronto goalie Greg Sutton after picking up an Adam Cristman cross in the penalty area. About six minutes later, Twellman headed a Steve Ralston cross into the net.

Joseph scored on a penalty kick, and Dorman closed out the scoring with a goal in the 72nd minute.

Toronto FC has yet to score in its first two games.
