WASHINGTON, April 14 (UPI) -- Michael Harrington and Sasha Victorine scored before the game was eight minutes old Saturday and the Kansas City Wizards went on to beat D.C. United, 4-2.

The home-opener loss was the second in two games to start the new MLS season for D.C. United, which won the 2006 Supporters' Shield and was regarded as a likely MLS Eastern Conference representative in the MLS Cup this fall.

D.C. United came back to tie the game on goals by Luciano Emilio and Christian Gomez, but Wizards forward Eddie Johnson scored what turned out to be the decisive goal just before the half.

Scott Sealy wrapped up the scoring for Kansas City nine minutes into the second half.
