MLB: Florida 9, Washington 3

WASHINGTON, April 3 (UPI) -- Scott Olsen worked into the sixth inning and had two hits as well Tuesday night in leading Florida to a 9-3 victory over Washington.

Olsen gave up two runs on two hits in 5 1/3 innings, helping the Marlins open their season with two straight wins. He drove in a run and scored one.

Florida's John Willingham contributed three hits and two RBI.

Washington starter Shawn Hill allowed five runs on five hits. The Nationals have allowed 18 runs in their first two games.
