NHL: Columbus 4, St. Louis 1

ST. LOUIS, March 27 (UPI) -- Fredrik Modin scored twice Tuesday to lead the Columbus Blue Jackets to a 4-1 victory over the St. Louis Blues.

Ron Hainsey had a goal and an assist, Rick Nash a goal, and David Vyborny two assists for the Blue Jackets, who have won four straight. Fredrik Norrena had 19 saves for Columbus.

Eric Brewer had the lone goal for St. Louis, which has lost four of its last five games.

Curtis Sanford gave up three goals on 12 shots before being pulled in the second period. Jason Bacashihua finished and allowed one goal on 13 shots.
