NBA: Seattle 114, Minnesota 106

MINNEAPOLIS, March 27 (UPI) -- The Seattle SuperSonics, led by Rashard Lewis' 35 points, overcame a 25-point deficit Tuesday to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves, 114-106.

The SuperSonics took the lead with one minute left on a pair of Lewis' free throws.

Minnesota's collapse was the largest lead turned defeat in franchise history.

Lewis scored 21 of his points in the fourth quarter when Seattle outscored Minnesota 35-12.

The Sonics moved within six games of the Los Angeles Clippers for the eighth and final Western Conference playoff spot. Minnesota dropped four games behind.
