CHICAGO, March 26 (UPI) -- Luol Deng had a career-high 38 points on the strength of 18-of-25 shooting to lead the Chicago Bulls over the Portland Trail Blazers, 100-89, Monday.

Kirk Hinrich had 21 points and 12 assists, and Ben Gordon added 17 points for the Bulls, who won three straight and seven of their last nine games.

Portland has lost two straight.

In the losing effort, LaMarcus Aldridge finished with 20 points and eight rebounds; Zach Randolph added 17 points; Martell Webster chipped in 14 points and Jarrett Jack had 10 points and nine assists.

The Blazers were without Brandon Roy for the entire game and Ime Udoka for much of the contest. Roy missed the game after his girlfriend went into labor just prior to the contest, and Udoka left early in the second quarter with a concussion.
