Edwards wins Busch race at Bristol

BRISTOL, Tenn., March 24 (UPI) -- Carl Edwards won Saturday's Sharpie Mini 300 Busch Series race at the Bristol Motor Speedway, finishing 0.264 seconds ahead of runner-up Matt Kenseth.

The victory was Edwards' first of the season and 10th of his Busch career.

Kyle Busch finished third.

Edwards' win helped him build his championship lead to 197 over Kevin Harvick. The next Busch race will be in two weeks at the Nashville Superspeedway.
