PHILADELPHIA, March 22 (UPI) -- Flyers forward Todd Fedoruk was back in Philadelphia following an overnight stay in a New York hospital after he was knocked out during a game with the Rangers.
Fedoruk was knocked unconscious during a fight with New York's Colton Orr just 21 seconds into Wednesday night's game. Orr hit Fedoruk with a quick right and the Flyers' forward fell to the ice.
He was taken from the arena on a stretcher but doctors said that, other than some short-term memory loss, examinations showed no injuries to Fedoruk. He was kept at St. Vincent's Hospital overnight for observation.
Fedoruk returned to Philadelphia Thursday.
"I feel good," Fedoruk said. "I got a good rest last night. Everything came back, everything was positive, all the tests and stuff like that. I feel good today and I am glad to be back in Philly."
Fedoruk has three goals and 11 assists this season to go along with 120 penalty minutes.
