PITTSBURGH, March 18 (UPI) -- Jarkko Ruutu produced the only goal during a shootout Sunday night as the Pittsburgh Penguins downed Ottawa, 4-3.
Ruutu snuck a backhand shot past Ray Emery in the second round of the shootout, while Marc-Andre Fleury stopped all three shots he faced.

Sidney Crosby and Ryan Whitney both scored a goal and had an assist to help Pittsburgh win its fifth straight game.
The Penguins moved into a tie with Ottawa for fourth place and home-ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
