COL BKB: Texas A&M 72, Louisville 69

LEXINGTON, Ky., March 17 (UPI) -- Acie Law IV scored 26 points Saturday as ninth-ranked Texas A&M defeated Louisville, 72-69, in the second round of the South Region of the NCAA Tournament.

Dominique Kirk added 21 points and six rebounds for the third-seeded Aggies (27-6), who will face either Memphis or Nevada in the Sweet 16 next week.

Edgar Sosa scored 31 points to lead the Cardinals (24-10), but missed a long three-point attempt in the final seconds that could have sent the game to overtime.

Terrence Williams added 17 points for Louisville, which entered the game a perfect 4-0 versus No. 3 seeds in the NCAA Tournament.
