NBA: Chicago 88, Philadelphia 87

PHILADELPHIA, March 14 (UPI) -- Kirk Hinrich sank a jump shot with 26.7 seconds left Wednesday night as the Chicago Bulls rallied to edge Philadelphia, 88-87.

Philadelphia shot 72 percent from the floor to build a 28-18 lead after the first quarter, and continued to lead by 50-42 at the half.

The lead was 72-62 after the third quarter, but Chicago finally forged ahead in the final 12 minutes.

Luol Deng led Chicago with 20 points and six assists. Hinrich had 14 points, five rebounds and two assists; while P.J. Brown and Chris Duhon both scored 11 points for the Bulls, who won their fourth straight game and their seventh out of eight.

Andre Iguodala led Philadelphia with 19 points, five rebounds and six assists. Willie Green had 16 points, two rebounds and two assists; and Samuel Dalembert had 15 points and seven rebounds for the 76ers, who had a seven-game home winning streak snapped.
