BATON ROUGE, La., March 14 (UPI) -- LSU men's basketball coach John Brady says he will hold a news conference next Wednesday regarding the future of junior forward Glen "Big Baby" Davis.

The 6-foot-9 inch, 295-pound Davis has said he is pondering a jump to the NBA.

This season, the Baton Rouge native had per game averages of 17.7 points and 10.4 rebounds in 29 games.

Brady told the Baton Rouge (La.) Advocate that Davis is pondering the move.

"Glen is gathering some information," Brady told the newspaper. "I've called the NBA. I've called some NBA scouts. Glen's also, I think, is talking to some people who may or may not represent him which is legal for him to do. He's just trying to get a grip on where he is in the draft and what he's comfortable with. He'll announce his intentions (March 21)."

Davis averaged 18.6 points and 9.7 rebounds while helping the Tigers advance to the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament last season.
