ATLANTA, March 11 (UPI) -- Al Horford had 18 points and 10 rebounds Sunday afternoon as sixth-ranked Florida belted Arkansas, 66-45, to win the SEC Tournament at Atlanta.
The reigning national college basketball champion used a workman-like performance to win its third straight SEC title.
Florida's lead was 36-28 at the break, but the Gators outscored Arkansas, 41-28, in the second half.
Horford's jumper with 18:29 remaining gave Florida its first double-digit lead of the game, and they cruised home.
Joakim Noah had 17 points, nine rebounds, and five steals, and Taurean Green had 10 points and three assists for the top-seeded Gators (29-5), who have won their last four games.
Michael Washington led Arkansas with 17 points and seven rebounds.
Sonny Weems had 15 points and four rebounds, while leading scorer Patrick Beverly was held to seven points for the third-seeded Razorbacks (21-13), who had a five-game winning streak snapped.
