COLUMBUS, Ohio, March 10 (UPI) -- Marty Turco stopped 30 shots Friday night to record his fifth shutout of the season as the Dallas Stars beat the Columbus Blue Jackets, 3-0.
The victory helped the Stars break their season-high four-game losing streak.
Sergei Zubov had a goal and an assist; Niklas Hagman and Mike Ribeiro also scored and Philippe Boucher had two assists for Dallas, which gave Turco the only goal he would need at 11:03 of the second period, when Zubov scored his 10th goal of the season on the power play.
Ribiero's goal at 15:41 of the third also came on the power play as the Stars picked up their first win since Feb. 27 against Tampa Bay.
Fredrik Norrena made 28 saves, but allowed all three goals for the Blue Jackets, who had their three-game winning streak snapped.
