Russell Carter missed a three-point attempt with six seconds remaining.
DaJuan Summers had 18 points and three rebounds; Patrick Ewing Jr. had 15 points and four rebounds; and Green added 12 rebounds for the top-seeded Hoyas (25-6), who rallied from a 14-point first half deficit.
Carter led 16th-ranked Notre Dame with 21 points and nine rebounds.
Tory Jackson had 20 points and nine rebounds; and Colin Falls scored 14 points for the Fighting Irish (24-7), who had a five-game winning steak snapped.
Georgetown will play in the conference final Saturday for the first time since 1996.
