NBA: MIami 88, Atlanta 81

MIAMI, March 5 (UPI) -- Eddie Jones scored a season-high 21 points and Shaquille O'Neal added 14 points and nine rebounds Monday as the Miami Heat downed the Atlanta Hawks, 88-81.

Gary Payton added 11 points and James Posey had 10 for Miami, which has won three straight and 11 of its last 14 games.

Anthony Johnson and Josh Smith each had 16 points for the Hawks. Josh Childress added 14 points and eight rebounds in the loss, Atlanta's sixth straight.
