Jean-Sebastien Giguere was called upon to make just 12 saves in earning the victory.
Nashville, which picked up goals from Kimmo Timonen and J.P. Dumont, had won four games in a row.
Although the Predators were able to earn just one point, they tied idle Buffalo for the best point total in the NHL.
