PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., March 4 (UPI) -- Mark Wilson, Jose Coceres, Camilo Villegas and Boo Weekley were in a sudden death playoff Sunday when the Honda Classic in Florida was suspended by darkness.
The four players will return to the PGA National Resort and Spa Monday at 8:30 a.m. to resume the playoff.
Weekley could have won the tournament in regulation, but he three-putted the final green -- missing his second putt from less than four feet.
The playoff began at the par-5 18th hole and all four made par as dusk settled over the course.
Wilson made a 30-foot par putt on the playoff hole to stay alive in the event. He made an even longer putt to save par on the 16th hole of regulation play.
The four tied for the lead after 72 holes at 5-under 275. Coceres and Villegas both shot 66 Sunday while Weekley had a 70 and Wilson a 71.
Coceres lost in a playoff last week to Fred Funk in Mexico.
Tripp Isenhour, Robert Allenby and Steve Stricker all finished a shot out of the playoff.
