COL BKB: Louisville 86, Seton Hall 71

LOUISVILLE, Ky., March 4 (UPI) -- An 18-point effort by Edgar Sosa Sunday paced 19th-ranked Louisville to an 86-71 win over Seton Hall.

The Cardinals wrapped up the second seed in the upcoming Big East Conference Tournament. They will play their first tournament game Thursday night after receiving a bye past the opening round.

Terrence Williams and David Padgett both scored 15 points for Louisville, which won its sixth in a row to finish the regular season at 22-8. The Cardinals were 12-4 in the Big East.

Seton Hall (13-16, 4-12) was led by 29 points from Brian Laing.
