NHL: Buffalo 3, Toronto 1

TORONTO, March 3 (UPI) -- Ryan Miller blocked 26 shots Saturday as the Buffalo Sabres posted a 3-1 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Toni Lydman, Drew Stafford and Nathan Paetsch scored for Buffalo, which has won nine of its last 11 games. The Sabres moved ahead of Nashville into the top spot in the NHL with 93 points.

Jean-Sebastien Aubin stopped 26 shots for Toronto, which has lost three of its last four games. Nik Antropov scored the lone Maple Leafs' goal.

The two teams played a scoreless first period, but Lydman scored for the Sabres just under five minutes into the second period.
