COL BKB: Wake Forest 78, Virginia 72

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., March 3 (UPI) -- Kyle Visser had 17 points and 10 rebounds Saturday as the Wake Forest Demon Deacons beat the 25th-ranked Virginia Cavaliers, 78-72.

Visser made only 4-of-13 shots from the field. Teammate Michael Drum added 16 points and L. D. Williams had 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Deacons (14-15, 5-11 ACC).

Virginia (20-9, 11-5) got 25 points from Sean Singletary and J.R. Reynolds and Jamil Tucker scored 11 and 10 points, respectively.
