SAN JOSE, Calif., March 1 (UPI) -- J.P. Dumont scored the winning goal in the fourth round of a shootout Wednesday night, as the Nashville Predators beat San Jose, 4-3.

Ryane Clowe scored on San Jose's first shootout attempt, and then Alexander Radulov beat Sharks' goalie Evgeni Nabokov to put Nashville ahead. Joe Pavelski got the Sharks even on the next round, but -- after four shooters were denied -- Dumont put the game winner past Nabokov.

Vernon Fiddler, Martin Erat and Alexander Radulov scored in regulation for the Predators, who won their third straight. Tomas Vokoun stopped 27 shots.

Steve Bernier, Matt Carle and Marc-Edouard Vlasic scored and Nabokov made 29 saves for the Sharks, who lost their third straight game.
