Lasorda denies association with madam

Published: March. 1, 2007 at 2:07 PM

VERO BEACH, March 1 (UPI) -- Former Los Angeles Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda declined to talk about his alleged association with a convicted madam, except to deny the whole thing.

The 79-year-old former Hall of Fame baseball manager was included on a celebrity-studded list of supposed clients of Jody "Babydol" Gibson.

Lasorda said he had never spoken to her, let alone paid for sex. He said he probably won't sue her despite his attorney's saying he intended to do so.

Other than that, it was pretty much a routine day for Lasorda at the ballpark in Vero Beach where the Dodgers are in spring training. Lots of laughs, tall tales and after a while, a nap in the bleachers.
