COL BKB: Tennessee 86, Florida 76

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Chris Loften scored 21 points Tuesday as the Tennessee Vols handed the fourth-ranked Florida Gators their second straight loss, 86-76.

JaJuan Smith added 16 points for the Volunteers (21-9, 9-6 SEC), who won for the sixth time in their last seven games.

Tennessee had a perfect home season at 16-0 for the first time since 1976.

Al Horford had 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Gators (25-5, 12-3). Chris Richard and Corey Brewer each had 12 points for Florida, which trailed by as many as 27 points.

The Gators lost for the third time in their last four games following a 17-game winning streak.
