NHL: Minnesota 4, Edmonton 1

ST. PAUL, Minn., Feb. 25 (UPI) -- Pierre-Marc Bouchard notched a goal and an assist Sunday as Minnesota won its fourth game in five outings, 4-1 over Edmonton.

Todd White, Brent Burns and Marian Gaborik also scored for the Wild, which took control with two goals in the final 99 seconds of the opening period. Niklas Backstrom made 19 saves for Minnesota.

Edmonton, which has lost five of seven, got its only goal from Fernando Pisani.

White was left unattended in front of the Oilers' net and scored the game's initial goal with 1:39 to play in the first. Burns scored 31 seconds later with a soft wrist shot.
