COL BKB: Texas A&M 97, Baylor 87

COLLEGE STATION, Texas, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Acie Law scored 31 points Saturday, leading the ninth-ranked Texas A&M Aggies to a 97-87 victory over the Baylor Bears.

Joseph Jones added 22 points, Dominique Kirk had 17 points and Josh Carter -- the best three-point percentage shooter in the country -- finished with 14 points on 4-of-4 three-point shooting for Texas A&M (24-4, 12-2 Big 12).

Curtis Jerrells led Baylor (13-4, 3-11) with 27 points. Henry Dugat added 22 points and Aaron Bruce had 15.

Baylor trailed, 44-42, with 16:17 left to play, but the Aggies had a 16-6 run to open a 12-point lead. Kirk scored 12 of A&M's 16 points during that stretch.
