NAPLES, Fla., Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Allen Doyle vaulted into a one-shot lead over Mark O'Meara and Bobby Wadkins Saturday with one round to play at the ACE Group Classic in Naples, Fla.
Doyle rolled in a 10-foot birdie putt at the 17th as part of a 5-under 67 that gave him a 36-hole total of 12-under 132 at the Quail West course.

Wadkins, who had the first-round lead, shot a 69 to get to 133 and O'Meara reached that total by firing a 68.
Mike Reid was alone in fourth at 134 while Des Smyth and Eduardo Romero were at 135.
J.C. Snead recorded the first ace on the Champions Tour this year at the 172-yard 12th hole. He shot a 72 and was 13 shots off the lead.
