Roddick moves into Memphis semifinals

MEMPHIS, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Top-seeded Andy Roddick rallied in the second set Friday night to earn a semifinal berth at the Regions Morgan Keegan Championships in Memphis.

Roddick eliminated Yen-Hsun Lu, 6-4, 7-6 (9-7), setting up a semifinal match-up against Andy Murray.

Murray, who defeated Roddick last week in San Jose, recorded a 6-3, 6-2, victory over Stefan Koubek.

After winning the opening set, Roddick found himself trailing in the second, 5-2. Roddick eventually saved four set points before capturing the tiebreak.

The other semifinal will send Tommy Haas against Mardy Fish. Haas breezed to a 6-2, 6-2, quarterfinal win over Sam Querrey, while Fish advanced past Teimuraz Gabashvili, who retired in the second set with a viral illness.
