NBA: Detroit 110, Orlando 88

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Chris Webber left in the opening minute with a scratched cornea but returned to score 18 Wednesday night as the Detroit Pistons ran away from Orlando, 110-88.

Detroit won for the ninth time in 10 games, with Richard Hamilton adding 18 points and Chauncey Billups 17.

Dwight Howard scored 26 for Orlando, loser of three of its last four.

Howard accidentally struck Webber in the left eye moments after the game began. Webber soon returned and the Pistons dominated the opening half -- out-scoring Orlando by 15 in the second period.

Detroit led by as many as 31 in the fourth quarter.
